- Both are good, but what is the difference ?
-
- I have looked up the driver for your printer.
-
- 1.Studio prof. 2.1 has a driver for your printer.
- 2.Turboprint 4.0 has a driver for BJC-Color and BJC-4000. I guess these
- drivers are OK. The newest version is now V4.1 with more drivers.
-
- The difference :
-
- Turboprint prints as fast as a car with a turbobooster and Studio is
- verry verry slow.
- Quality : no difference.
-
- Turboprint works on the backgound and must be loaded before you print.
- I use WB-startup so Turboprint is always present.
- Studio has a driver like we all know from the normal workbench devs/printers.
-
- When you print from Final Writer/Pagestream/... Turboprint takes over. There
- are no prefs nessecary in de FW program. For studio you have to assign the
- driver first with Prefs/Printer.
-
- You can alse print with a separate program coming with Studio and Turboprint.
- If you load a ".gif" or a ".jpeg" picture then you can print it with Studio
- or Turboprint. The main difference is that Turboprint has a viewer. Everytime
- you chanse f.e. the colors, contrast, brightness you can see the picture
- again on the screen. If you notice it is to dark then you can change the
- brightness again.
- This is not possible with Studio. Studio has no viewer.
-
- At last: i have a EPSON Stylus color II. When I print with Studio then i
- can use the 720x720 resolution. With Turbo is the highest 360x360. If i try
- 720x720 with Turboprint it is bullshit.
